An Interesting Take On Children's Furniture

21 Jul

Somehow, you’ve gotten it into your mind that children shouldn’t be around the color black. They shouldn’t be around stuffy old colors of woods like mahogany, or even rosewood for that matter. No, children’s furniture needs to be white, and full of basic colors: red, blue, green, basic yellow. Bright colors. Right? Perhaps. Or perhaps not. There are certain schools of thought that are more along the line of: anything really goes, as long as the stuff’s safe. Where colors really matter are in the things that the children interact with in a direct and personal scale and level, say experts that know about these things. Their books, their toys for example. So, this might explain the rash of new furniture that’s coming out that really looks an awful like miniature adult furniture, with darker hues and tones, and smells of old wood and the like. It’s really interest. Controversial for sure, but interesting to say the least.
