The CZ stones look incredible on this mens engagement ring! I am not completely sure, however it sure is a great offer for its cost. I’ve had numerous compliments when I wear it. It is stunning and very sparkly. If you want just a pretty style ring then this is going to do fine. It’s basically a back up version of my “stay away I am taken/not intrested” ring. I needed something that looked like the ring I ordered from Kay. I believe my fiance did an excellent job when choosing this for my wedding set, because the one its replacing is worn and dull. If you look at it carefully, you can tell it isn’t real, but when you just look into it, it will not be a problem. I received this ring from my boyfriend for our 6 month anniversary as a promise ring and I love it! It really works well as a promise ring, a “thinking about you a lot” ring, or simply an “I still like you” ring.

Outstanding Taxco Bracelets

Taxco bracelets and other sterling silver jewelry became popular in the 1940s, largely because of an American designer by the name of William Spratling. Both many designers of Taxco jewelry are also of important due to their influence on the direction of the look Mexican jewelry took over the years.

Taxco is a small city not to terribly far from Mexico City. It has a long history of mining in the area. Natives mined non precious stones, and when the Spanish conquistidors came, they found and mined silver. It was in the mid 1900s that William Spratling came to Taxco, and brought with him European goldsmiths. These goldsmiths created Spratlings designs in the silver from the region, and then taught their skills to the local towns people. Spratling used ancient Mexican and Latin American motifs in his designs as well as usinf local stones, such as torquise, to decorate his designs. Taxco jewelry still uses the same ideals to this day.

Another artist that had a great influence on the sales of Taxco jewelry was Margot Van Voorhies. Her design company,margot de taxco jewelry, began selling to the western market during the second world war, when America found it too difficult to import European jewelry. Margot took advantage of the situation and imported her designs into the U.S. and Canada. It was the first time Mexican jewelry designs were entered into the world market, and appreciated as authentic Mexican art.

There are numerous other atisans who helped make Taxco silver jewelry into the collectible items that it is today. Taxco jewelry can be found in major retail oulets around the world as well as online.
