This past weekend I went to Club Groove with some friends and I was shocked at the service compared to other clubs in Buenos Aires and the clubs back in the States. Groove is located in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and plays a variety of club music. Smirnoff was throwing an event there this past Friday so a group of us decided to check it out. We bought a table and a few bottles, but we did not feel like we made a good purchase.
I am use to service in the States where if a customer buys a table and bottles then the club is motivated to please the customer and milk some more money out of them. Here at Groove this was not the case. Early in the day we informed the club that it would be a group of ten in our party and notified them about seating we would need to accommodate our group. When we got to Groove there were not enough seats and we had to bring mixers and the bottles over to the table ourselves. We were not waited on in any way and I expected more after paying the amount we did.
The club was fun and I had a good time, but I think our money could have been spent in a better way. I help a wine tasting company and we host some of the best wine tastings in Buenos Aires and I think our wine tastings are the best because of our service. Argentina has some of the most amazing wine tastings and I recommend people to spend their money on a nice wine tasting rather than bad service at a club. I think the wine tasting is a more personal experience and there are more memories to be had while sharing good wine with friends and family.
